The Four Conversations.
Custom building goes wrong in predictable places: unclear scope, surprise costs, long silences. This is how we avoid all three.
The Walk
We start with the site.
Before any drawings exist, we stand on the property together. What the land will allow, what it will fight you on, how the house wants to sit, and an honest early sense of the range of money involved.
The Drawings
We define what we are building.
Your architect’s set, or one we bring in. Scope, materials and the decisions that drive cost get settled here, on paper, while changing your mind is still free.
The Number
You see what the project costs.
Itemised, line by line, with allowances clearly identified as allowances. If something is likely to move later, you hear about it now rather than in month nine.
The Build
You know where things stand.
A predictable rhythm of updates so you are never chasing. Decisions get raised early and changes get priced before the work happens.
Start with the walk.
Tell us a little about what you’re planning. We’ll start with a conversation.
