Addition

An Addition, Start to Finish

The part of an addition most people never see — footings, framing in the middle of winter, and the insulated shell before drywall goes up.

The challenge

An addition is judged on the finished room, but everything that makes it last — or fail — happens before any of that is visible.

Our approach

Footings and grading first, framing carried through the winter so the schedule held, then the shell insulated and sealed before a single interior finish went on.

The result

A room that was built right in the parts nobody sees, which is the only way to be sure of the parts everybody does.
